Tummy tuck
Abdominoplasty — the most common plastic surgery after weight loss. Removes excess abdominal skin and tightens the underlying muscle wall. The most requested procedure after significant weight loss.
You did the hard thing. You lost the weight, you kept it off, and then you found the part nobody warned you about — the loose skin that doesn’t go anywhere no matter how much work you put in.
Plastic surgery after weight loss — body contouring — is coming to Pompeii Surgical. Same facility, same standards, same team who got you here.
This isn’t a new business line we invented. It came from our own patients — people who had their sleeve or bypass with us, hit their goal, and came back asking the same question: what about the skin?
Post-bariatric body contouring is its own discipline. Operating on someone who has lost a hundred pounds is not the same as a routine cosmetic case: the tissue behaves differently, nutrition status matters enormously, and timing against your weight stabilisation is part of the surgical plan. It deserves to be done by people who understand where you started.
We’d rather launch it properly than quickly. That’s why this page says coming rather than book now.
The plastic surgery procedures most requested after major weight loss — skin removal, tummy tuck and body contouring. The final list and pricing will be confirmed closer to launch.
Abdominoplasty — the most common plastic surgery after weight loss. Removes excess abdominal skin and tightens the underlying muscle wall. The most requested procedure after significant weight loss.
Removal of the overhanging apron of skin below the waistline. Often the procedure that resolves rashes, irritation and mobility problems.
Brachioplasty — addresses loose skin along the upper arm that doesn’t respond to strength training.
Reshapes the inner and outer thigh after the skin has lost its ability to retract.
Lift, augmentation, or a combination — restoring shape and position after volume loss.
A circumferential procedure addressing the abdomen, hips, outer thighs and buttocks in one stage, for patients with substantial loose skin.
Worth knowing now, because the answer for most people is “later than you’d like” — and that’s in your interest.
Not yet. Plastic surgery and body contouring after weight loss are expected to open at Pompeii Surgical in late 2026. Nothing is bookable today and we are not taking payment for it. Join the interest list and you will hear first, with the confirmed procedure list and real pricing.
The procedures most requested after major weight loss are tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), panniculectomy, arm lift, thigh lift, breast lift or augmentation, and lower body lift. Which are right for you depends on where you carry loose skin and how much of it there is.
Most surgeons want to see a stable weight for several months before contouring, which for a lot of patients lands somewhere between twelve and eighteen months after the sleeve or bypass. Operating on a body that is still changing means operating on it twice.
Sometimes, and it depends heavily on your insurer and your symptoms. A panniculectomy performed for documented rashes, infections or mobility problems is treated differently from a cosmetic tummy tuck. Keep records of any skin-related problems you have — they matter to that conversation.
Pricing has not been set. When the programme opens we will publish real, all-inclusive pricing the same way we do for bariatric surgery — no consultation-only quotes.
Tell your coordinator you want on the plastics list, or call us and we’ll add you. When the programme launches, the people on this list hear first — with the confirmed procedures and real pricing.
