We collect only the information needed to evaluate eligibility for care, coordinate surgery and travel, and support you before and after your procedure. This may include:

• Contact information — your name, mobile phone number, email address, and mailing address.
• Health and program information — details you choose to provide about your medical history, height/weight, procedure of interest, and eligibility responses, used solely to coordinate your care.
• Appointment and travel details — surgery dates, flight and lodging information, and room or transportation preferences.
• Account and usage information — information you submit through forms, the patient dashboard, and messages you send us.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Determine eligibility for surgery and coordinate your procedure, lodging, and travel.
• Communicate with you about your care — including appointment scheduling, pre-operative and post-operative instructions, reminders, and support — by phone, email, and SMS where you have opted in.
• Respond to your questions and provide customer and patient support.
• Operate, secure, and improve our services, and meet legal and regulatory obligations.

SMS / Text Message Communications

If you opt in to text messages — for example, by checking the SMS consent box during signup — we use your mobile number to send you care-coordination messages such as appointment and surgery reminders, pre- and post-operative instructions, and replies to your support requests. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share information only as needed to provide our services, specifically:

• With our surgeons, hospital, and care teams who deliver and coordinate your treatment.
• With trusted service providers (subcontractors) who perform functions on our behalf — such as scheduling, communications, customer service, and IT — and who are bound to protect your information and use it only for those functions.
• When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our patients and our organization.

Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties for any purpose other than delivering the messages you requested.

Social Media & Platform Integrations

We maintain official accounts on social media platforms (including TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram) where we publish our own educational content about bariatric surgery and weight-loss science. To deliver that content, our staff may connect our accounts to our publishing tools using the platforms’ official developer APIs (for example, TikTok’s Login Kit and Content Posting API). In connection with these integrations:

• We publish; we don’t collect. These integrations exist solely to upload our own videos to our own accounts. We do not use them to access, collect, or store personal information about platform users, followers, or viewers.
• Credentials are protected. Platform-issued credentials and access tokens for our accounts are stored securely server-side, are never sold or shared, and are used only to publish our content and check its publishing status.
• Your activity on those platforms is governed by their policies. If you view, like, comment on, or share our content on a social platform, that interaction happens on the platform and is governed by its own terms of service and privacy policy, not ours.

Data Security & Retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We retain information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet our legal and recordkeeping obligations, after which it is securely deleted or de-identified.

• Email: use the unsubscribe link in our emails or contact us to update your preferences.
• Access & updates: contact us to review, correct, or request deletion of the information we hold about you.

Children’s Privacy

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 years of age.
